Airbag

A safety system that involves inflatable bags mounted usually in front of and
sometimes also beside the occupants of a car. In the event of a collision, the bags
innate to cushion the impact of the driver and/or passengers hitting the interior of the
oar, Airbags protect the occupants during a head-on collision, but much less in a roll-
over.
Airbags were once erroneously considered major safety measures on their own. but
their real strength is that they offer protection in ways that a seatbelt cannot. That is
why airbags are often described as supplementary restraint systems.
