a technology that allows you to send information from one device to another or connect with bluetooth acccessories without wires .unlike infrared,in bluetooth the two device need not to be in line of sight , and can actually be within 10 metres of each other.however,the kind of information that can be sent(music,contacts,files,etc) differs from device to device. a word of advice:turn off bluetooth when it is not required since it deplets the battery level at an alarming rate
