Guru Tegh Bahadur
Guru Tegh Bahadur : The nineth Guru of the Sikhs, lived in Anandpur Sahib. He protested against the anti-Hindi policy of Aurangzeb. He was summoned to Delhi and asked to embrace Islam, which he refused. So he had to suffer martyrdom in 1675. His son Guru Gobind Singh therefore organised Sikhs into a military organisation and fought against Mughals all through his life.
