Krishnamurthy, Jiddu

Krishnamurthy, Jiddu : A renowned philosopher of India. His patrons, Annie Besant and C.W.Leadbeather wanted to make him the world teacher after Christ and Krishna and created the order of the star in the East in 1911. In 1929, he dissolved the order of the Star of the East as he felt that spiritual organisations were a hindrance to the discovery of the truth.
