Dorjee Phu

Dorjee Phu :The first Indian to climb Mount Everest without oxygen, a seasoned mountaineer and instructor at the Sonamgyastso Mountaineiring institute of Gangtok was, along with two of his team mates, overtaken by a fierce blizzard in May 1987. He scaled Kanchenjunga, world’s third highest peak. He scaled Mount Everest twice. He is a Padma Shri and Arjuna award winner.
